The East Washington Street side of the Old Jewish Cemetery
is now a neighborhood park, complete with landscaping, benches and a commemorative
plaque. The Pennsylvania Historical Marker has been located on the
site.The front gates are to remain open forever. There is now a new
fence in place that separates the burial grounds from the park, approximately
75 feet from the sidewalk. Contractors from the neighborhod will
maintain the grounds for all to enjoy.
