Who We Are - How to Contact Us

We are the Sons of Israel Cemetery Association, Inc. Our association sponsors this Web site, and the Old Jewish Cemetery restoration. A volunteer organization formed in 1955, The association's major task is to meet the needs of Jewish citizens of Franklin County by providing burial plots and by managing the Jewish burial grounds at the Lincoln Cemetery. Since that year, all Jewish burials have taken place only at Lincoln Cemetery. The last burial at the Old Jewish Cemetery took place in 1953.

Our officers include Dr. Roy Himelfarb, President, and Mrs. Helen Rudolph, Secretary, and Mrs. Elaine Spencer, Treasurer. Dr. James Wolfson is our operations manager at the Old Jewish Cemetery.
